Herbs are gathered with the order MAKE HERBS. Depending on the skill level in Herbalism, you will gather more or less herbs in the region. Each region have only one typ of herb. Herbs grow back like trees; if you are not careful, you can pick all the herbs in a region and then have to plant some again using GROW HERBS. If in doubt, you have to try out which herb has ever grown here.

Herbs are mainly used for alchemy. Some spells also need herbs as components.

With RESEARCH HERBS you can find out approximately how many herbs grow in the region; this requires herbalism level 7 or higher.

very few = less than 10

few = less than 30

rather many = less than 60

many = less than 90

a great many = more than 90

Be careful, fresh herbs don't last forever. Herbs will rot with time.
